Autumn Welcome

I've got a bit of a sneaky card to share today as the dies I've used are not yet in store but they will be later today or tomorrow (we had a few issues last night that prevented me finishing adding them to the store - adding items actually takes a really long time!)   I wanted to share the card though as I've also used all the delicious new shades of ink from Altenew to colour the die cuts and the inks are selling fast!

The bird, leaves, acorn, pine cone and berries are from the new Woodland Basics die from Wplus9 and they were die cut from white card before colouring with the direct to paper technique using inks from Sea Shore, Coffee Break and Rose Petal sets of ink from Altenew.   The twiggy wreath is from Warm Welcome by Lil' Inker Designs which is paired with the matching Welcome word.

It's a fun set to work with - a good tip when playing with die cuts like this is to lay them all out and play around with the placement and then snap a quick photo on your phone so when you take them off to glue them you know which to glue down first to get it back to how you had it.

NEWS FROM THE STORE
  • We just got the new release from Altenew so all the inks, reinkers and new dies are now live in store.  https://sevenhillscrafts.co.uk/brands/altenew.html
  • The first arrival as I said above will be the new release from Wplus9 which will be live today or tomorrow.
  • We will have the new release from SugarPea Designs in store on release day (14th Oct)
  • We will have the new release from Mama Elephant live on store on release day (15th Oct)
  • We have the new releases from Reverse Confetti and Concord and 9th awaiting shipping.

That's all this week folks.

Pop back this afternoon for more inspirational ideas from our DT in our monthly challenge.

  2. Such a lovely card Tara! I NEED that die set now, but just spent the last of this month's money on an order from you last night. Still, at least I will soon have the new Altenew inks to play with!
